The Horse Power Heroes Competition will be run at each event Rapid GB’s Dyno is booked into (see’ Events’ list for confirmed dates) this competition will be held only at Santa Pod, starting from the 9th March – Fast Show onwards.
Contestants can run their car on the UK’s latest most accurate Dyno equipment and compare it against fellow contestants. The maximum power and torque produced by each car will be shown on our leader board, and the top car at the end of the season will win their class and each class winner will automatically be entered into the Open class– there will be various car classes as shown below:-
Classes:
Class A
- Upto 2 litre vehicles Naturally Aspirated
- Upto 2 litre vehicles Supercharged/Turbo/Nitrous
Class B
- 2 litre to 3 litre vehicles Naturally Aspirated
- 2 litre to 3 litre vehicles Supercharged/Turbo/Nitrous
Class C
- 3 litre and above vehicles Naturally Aspirated (inc.Rotary)
- 3 litre and above vehicles Supercharged/Turbo/Nitrous (inc.Rotary)
Open Class
- This class is open to any vehicles and any size, and is available for the professional tuner to enter
Download the pdf competition pre-entry form and email back sales@rapid-gb.co.uk or you can enter on the day by visiting Rapid GB stand opposite the Pod Shop, sign in receive your wrist band with your slot time.
Costs:-
For a shoot out power run to prove your bhp and torque with entry into the Horsepower Competition (You do not have to enter the competition but it is free to enter)
To run your car, receive a Dyno Chart (Laminated) for your records and free entry into the competition. £45.00 .inc vat
We can re-map your car from £250.00 upwards petrol/diesel but this can only be done back at our workshop due to time constraints at the events, but ask any Rapid GB personnel for more details or call to book in 01933 272087.
All customers putting their vehicle on the dyno will have sign a disclaimer and verify their car details and modifications before we can run the car.
